Chris Stefanick and his awesome team at Formed.org will be teaching us
about "Who is Jesus? The most beautiful part of this story is this: we
can know God's love, personally. This is the person of Jesus. But how
did this seemingly insignificant carpenter born into poverty in a dusty
corner of the Roman Empire become the most pivotal figure in all of
history? Christianity isn’t simply a philosophy for life - the center of
Christianity is a person. We look at the life of Jesus and what he came
to do. Ultimately, we need to decide if Jesus really was who he said he
was. We can't sit on the fence. Because if Jesus really was who he said
he was, we need to make him the Lord of our lives, and everything
changes."
Plus we will have our usual fun ice
breaker, safe sharing small group discussions so you can get to know
other people, and other fun stuff!

The St. Peter's Young Adult Group is a Roman Catholic young adult group, that meets at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Silver Springs, in northwest Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
It's a great place to learn more about our Catholic faith, in a safe friendly environment, and to make new friends who share your faith. You can ask any questions you like, and we encourage you to ask any and every question you have. You can ask them in the group, or anonymously by writing your question down and putting it in the Question Box at our meetings, or by emailing Fr. Jonathan. He will answer all questions, or he will get the answers from our experts in the Catholic Church.
At our regular meetings, we have a variety of great speakers, discussions in safe sharing small groups, and fun ice breakers, and other "interesting things" (at every meeting - yes, really!).
The group is for men and women, ages 18 - 36, it's free to attend our regular meetings, and our meetings are drop-in (you don't have to come to every meeting). And, our group is open to people who are in other parishes, too.
We meet on the first and third Friday of each month, for our regular meeting, plus we have about one social event each month.
It's a great place to make friends and learn how to live an awesome life.
So, come out and join us for Faith,
Friendship, and Fun!
